Design Services

Consultation Services

Our design consultation services are non-refundable once the consultation has been completed. However, you may reschedule your consultation with at least 48 hours notice without penalty.

Design Packages

For comprehensive design packages:

  • Deposits are refundable if you cancel before design work begins
  • Once design concepts are presented, 50% of the design fee is non-refundable
  • After approval of final designs, design fees are non-refundable
  • You may request revisions according to the terms of your service agreement

Furniture and Décor Items

Standard Items

For furniture and décor items sourced through Khivaronux:

  • Items may be returned within days of delivery
  • Items must be in original condition, unused, and in original packaging
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client unless the item is defective
  • A restocking fee of 15% may apply to returned items
  • Refunds will be processed within business days of receiving the returned item

Custom and Special Order Items

Custom-made or special order items are generally non-refundable and non-returnable. This includes:

  • Custom upholstered furniture
  • Made-to-order window treatments
  • Personalized or monogrammed items
  • Items ordered to specific dimensions or specifications
  • Clearance or final sale items

Exceptions may be made for manufacturing defects or significant quality issues.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item:

  • Inspect all items upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage
  • We will coordinate with the supplier for replacement or repair
  • No return shipping costs will be charged for defective or damaged items
  • We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorization and instructions from our team
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging
  5. Ship the item to the address provided in your return authorization
  6. Provide tracking information for the return shipment

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Exchanges

We are happy to facilitate exchanges when possible:

  • Exchanges are subject to availability of the desired item
  • Price differences must be paid or refunded as applicable
  • Exchange requests must be made within the standard return period
  • Custom items cannot be exchanged
  • Shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the client

Refund Methods

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
  • Check refunds will be mailed within business days
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
  • Applicable restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount

Cancellations

Project cancellation terms:

  • Consultations may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance for full refund
  • Design packages may be cancelled before work begins for deposit refund minus administrative fee
  • Once items have been ordered from suppliers, those costs are non-refundable
  • Cancellations during active projects will be charged for work completed to date
  • Detailed cancellation terms are outlined in your service agreement

Manufacturer Warranties

Many furniture and décor items come with manufacturer warranties:

  • Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product
  • We will provide warranty information for all applicable items
  • Warranty claims should be directed to the manufacturer
  • We are happy to assist in coordinating warranty claims
  • Manufacturer warranties are separate from our return policy

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Used or assembled furniture
  • Items without original packaging or tags
  • Mattresses and bedding for hygiene reasons
  • Plants and perishable décor items
  • Digital design files or consultations already delivered
